In answer to a question by Councilman Turner concerning a charge for ad-
mission to Riverfrong Park during the Neches River Festival ' s "Raft Race"
last Saturday, Acting City Manager Earnest told Council that it has been

A discussion was held and Council members expressed concern for citizens
being charged for the use of City parks and asked that some form of pre-
sentation be made concerning the pros and cons for this and that it be
clearly publicized so that there is no more confusion by any on City pol-
icy in this area.
