WHEREAS, bids were received for a three (3)year contract for furnishing janitorial
services at City Hall, Police Department, Beaumont Public Library,Tyrrell Historical Library,
Municipal Court and Riverfront Park; and,
WHEREAS,Opportunities for Deserving Individuals, Inc. ("ODI"), Beaumont,Texas,
submitted a bid in the annual amount of$132,156.75; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by ODI, Beaumont,
Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the annual amount of$132,156.75 submitted by ODI, Beaumont, Texas,
fora three(3)year contract for furnishing janitorial services at City Hall, Police Department,
Beaumont Public Library, Tyrrell Historical Library, Municipal Court and Riverfront Park be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 27th day of
July, 2004.
