WHEREAS, bids were received for a six (6) month contract for the purchase of
lubricants for use by various City departments in maintaining vehicles and equipment;and,
WHEREAS, Tri-Con, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the unit prices
shown below with an estimated total expenditure of$39,841:

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Tri-Con, Inc.,
Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the unit amounts shown above for an estimated total expenditure of
$39,841 submitted by Tri-Con, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, for a six (6) month contract for the
purchase of lubricants for use by various City departments in maintaining vehicles and
equipment be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 13' day of April,
2004.
