RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, on November 27, 1995, bids were received for providing a five (5) year
financing agreement for the purchase of four (4) trucks equipped with recycling bodies for
the Solid Waste Management Department; and,
WHEREAS, Baystone Financial Group submitted a bid for a five (5) year financing
agreement in the amount of 53 basis points below the yield of the 7 3/4% Coupon Treasury
Note maturing December 1999; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Baystone
Financial Group should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Baystone Financial Group for a five (5) year financing
agreement for the purchase of four (4) trucks equipped with recycling bodies for the Solid
Waste Management Department in the amount of 53 basis points below the yield of the
7 3/4% Coupon Treasury Notes maturing December 1999 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a lease purchase
agreement for the trucks.
