BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Beaumont hereby finds and declares the buildin s located at: 1. 1029 Avenue D 18. 2345 Pear 2. 3143 Brenham 19. 1165 Powell 3. 570 Buford 20. 2290 Sabine Pass Ave. (Commercial) 4. 1036-1038 Calder (Commercial) 21. 3275 Sarah 5. 3125 Cleveland 22. 1125 Schwarner 6. 1438 Elgie 23. 1045 Steve Drive 7. 725 Euclid 24. 1065 Steve Drive 8. 595 S. 4th Street (Commercial) 25. 1075 Steve Drive 9. 1175 Iowa 26. 2135 Terrell Avenue 10. 2333 Irving 27. 1632 Tilson 11. 1345 Lamar (Shed) 28. 1634 Tilson 12. 1008 Lee 29. 1725 Trinidad (Garage) 13. 1028 Lee 30. 2030 Utica 14. 1735 Levy 31. 4330 Chaison 15. 1715 Magnolia (Commercial) 32. 3965 Fonville Avenue 16. 2243-53 Magnolia (Commercial) 33. 1050 Steve Drive 17. 11125 Old Voth Road to be public nuisances in that said buildings violate Chapter 14, Section 14-50 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Beaumont and are for want of repairs, or by reason of age or dilapidated condition, likely to cause or promote fires that would endanger persons or property. Section 2. In accordance with Article XVII, Section 2, of the Charter of the City of Beaumont, Section 10-2 and 14-52 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont,Texas, and Section 103.4 of the Standard Building Code, it is hereby ordered that the owner or owners of the following described building execute a work program with the City within ten (10) days of the date of this ordinance, completely secure the structure within seven (7)days of the date of this ordinance, and either demolish or repair the structure within one hundred twenty (120) days of the date of this ordinance: 13. 570 Buford (2) If the property owner(s) fail(s) to comply with this section, Council orders that the property be demolished without further notification to the property owner(s)or City Council action. Section 3. In accordance with Article XVII, Section 2, of the Charter of the City of Beaumont, Section 10-2 and 14-52 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas and Section 103.4 of the Standard Building Code, it is hereby ordered that the owner or owners of the following described buildings execute a work program with the City within ten (10) days of the date of this ordinance and either demolish or repair the structures within sixty(60)days after the date of this ordinance: 20. 2290 Sabine Pass Ave. (Commercial) 25. 1075 Steve Drive 24. 1065 Steve Drive If the property owner(s) fail(s) to comply with this section, Council orders that the property be demolished without further notification to the property owner(s) or City Council action. Section 4. Section 6. That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of persons or circumstances should for any reason be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 7. That any person who violated any provision of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished as provided in Section 1-8 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas.
