WHEREAS, bids were received on March 20, 1995 for a six (6) month contract for
lubricants for the Fleet Management Division; and,
WHEREAS, submitted a bid as follows:
TRI-CON, INC.
BEAUMONT, TX
Engine Oil, 15W-40 $ 2.95/gal.
Engine Oil, 30W $ 2.851gaI.
Automatic Transmission Fluid $ 1.22/gal.
Dextron II (Quart)
Automatic Transmission Fluid $ 3.10/gal.
Dextron II (55 Gallon Drum)
Automatic Transmission Fluid $ 1.22/gal.
Type F (Quart)
Hydraulic Oil (55 Gallon Drum) $ 3.05/gal.
Drum Deposit $ 20.00
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Tri-Con, Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Tri-Con, Inc. for a six (6) month contract for lubricants for
the Fleet Management Division in the above stated amounts be accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with Tri-Con, Inc. for such project.
