WHEREAS, Council authorization is requested for the City to accept a conveyance
of approximately 551.958 acres of Collier's Ferry Park property from BUILD, Inc. for use
in developing Phase I of Collier's Ferry Parkas described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said conveyance and
is of the opinion that the acceptance of said conveyance of property is necessary and
desirable and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to accept a conveyance of
551.958 acres of Collier's Ferry Park property from BUILD, Inc. for use in developing
Phase I of Collier's Ferry Park as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
