Home My WebLink AboutRES 95-109 RESOLUTION NO. - 5'--16 J WHEREAS, Gulf States Utilities Company/Entergy has tendered an easement across two tracts of land they own in fee, along with a "letter of no objection" to cross their easement on land owned by the State of Texas to serve the Federal prison site with water and sanitary sewer services, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said donation and is of the opinion that the acceptance of said donation of property is necessary and desirable and that same should be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT said tract of land tendered by Gulf States Utilities Company/Entergy be and the same is hereby in all things accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute the easement and the "letter of no objection".
