RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, on October 18, 1994 City Council approved Resolution No. 94-291
authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with MONY for ITT Hartford for Long
Term Disability insurance for the City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, legal council for ITT Hartford has withdrawn its proposal due to
pending litigation between TML, ITT Hartford and the City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, MONY (Michael Wolf) for John Alden Life Insurance Company was
the second lowest bidder;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the award of Long Term Disability insurance to ITT Hartford by Resolution No. 94-
291 is hereby revoked and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to enter into
a one (1)year contract with MONY for John Alden Life Insurance Company for Long Term
Disability insurance for the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the glac day
