WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of right-of-
way for Farm to Market Highway 364 (Major Drive) from Dishman Road north to
State Highway 105;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land for right-of-way for Farm to Market
Highway 364 (Major Drive) from Dishman Road north to State Highway 105 be, and
the same is hereby, approved:
Parcel 167 C: 1.018 acres of land out of the H. Williams Survey, Abstract 56
(On the east side of Major Drive just north of Boy's Haven)
Owner: H. G. Nichols, Sr.
Appraised Value: $11,707.00 (Partial Taking)
Less Improvements: $ .00
Total Compensation: $11,707.00
Parcel 168 B: 2.8784 acres of land out of the W. B. Dyches Survey, Abstract
17 (Northeast corner of the Major Drive and the proposed
Folsom Road.)
Owner: First Baptist Church of Beaumont, Texas, Inc.
Appraised Value: $24,429.00 (Partial Taking)
