WHEREAS, bids were received, Monday, April 4, 1994, for an annual contract for limestone both
F.O.B. jobsite and plantsite to be used by the Street and Drainage Division for the repair and maintenance
of streets; and,
WHEREAS, Transit Mix Concrete and Materials Co. submitted a bid in the following unit prices:
TRANSIT MIX CONCRETE AND MATERIALS CO.
Beaumont, Texas Price per ton
Limestone, F.O.B. Plantsite $ 10.20
Limestone, F.O.B. Jobsite, Zone 1 $ 12.35
Limestone, F.O.B. Jobsite, Zone 2 $ 12.35
Limestone, F.O.B. Jobsite, Zone 3 $ 12.35
Limestone, F.O.B. Jobsite, Zone 4 $ 12.35
Location of Plant 1399 Carrol Street
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Transit Mix Concrete and
Materials Co. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Transit Mix Concrete and Materials Co. for an annual contract for limestone
both F.O.B. jobsite and plantsite to be used by the Street and Drainage Division for the repair and
maintenance of streets in the above stated amounts be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the/ day of
