WHEREAS, the lawsuit of Benny F. Baskin, et al vs. City of Beaumont, et al has
been discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit of Benny F.
Baskin, et al vs. City of Beaumont, et al in the amount of Five Thousand 00/100 ($5,000.00)
Dollars.
