WHEREAS, on September 1, 1992, City Council awarded a contract to Bo-Mac Contractors,
Inc. for the 1992 Street Rehabilitation Program 'Reconstruction and Overlay" in the amount of
$1,305,338.50; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was issued June 1, 1993 to reconstruct Tyrrell Park Road
from Downs to Fannett Road in the additional amount of$204,222.00 increasing the contract amount
to $1,509,560.50; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No.2 was issued July 13, 1993 to reconstruct Downs Road,which
was utilized as a truck route and was damaged due to the heavy truck traffic,in the additional amount
of $81,834.00, increasing the contract amount to $1,591,394.50; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 is being requested to decrease the contract amount by
$43,083.91 to reflect quantities actually used in completing the project, decreasing the total contract
amount to $1,548,310.59;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 3, as stated
above, with Bo-Mac Contractor, Inc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make final
payment in the amount of$97,562.90 to Bo-Mac Contractors, Inc.
