WHEREAS, City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into a contract with
A-Way Tank Service, Inc. for cleaning and repainting the exterior of the 1.0 million gallon
West Elevated Storage Tank located on Liberty at 13th Street; and,
WHEREAS, the project is completed; and,
WHEREAS, A-Way Tank Service, Inc. has submitted their request for payment of
$46,900.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the cleaning and repainting of the exterior of the storage tank at Liberty and 13th
Street is hereby accepted and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue
final payment of$46,900.00 to A-Way Tank Service, Inc. for completion of the cleaning and
repainting of the exterior 1.0 million gallon West Elevated Storage Tank located on Liberty
at 13th Street.
