WHEREAS, on November 1, 1993, bids were received for the cleaning and
repainting of the exterior of the 1.0 million gallon South Elevated Water Storage Tank
located on Sabine Pass at Harriot Street; and,
WHEREAS, A-Way Tank Services, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$43,600.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by A-Way
Tank Services, Inc. is the lowest bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by A-Way Tank Services, Inc. for the cleaning and repainting of
the exterior of the 1.0 million gallon South Elevated Water Storage Tank located on Sabine
Pass at Harriot Street in the amount of $43,600.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
