RESOLUTION NO. 9'S-,? -24
WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land for
improvements to the Liberty-Laurel Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan
Boulevard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land for improvements to the Liberty-Laurel
Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan Boulevard be, and the same is hereby,
approved:
Parcel 107: 0.2242 acre tract of land out of Lots 5 and 6, Block 6, Lots 3 and
4, Block 5 of Laurel Heights Addition and a portion of the
abandoned Liberty Street right-of-way
Owner: Weinbaum Family Investments
Appraised Value: $66,409.00 (Partial Taking)
Parcel 109: 0.1020 acre tract of land out of Lots 7, 8, 9, and 20, Block 5 of
Laurel Heights Addition and a portion of the abandoned Liberty
Street right-of-way.
Owner: Mrs. Muriel Selber Folloder
Appraised Value: $204,400.00
