RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on Monday, July 26, 1993 sealed bids were received for an annual
contract to provide cement stabilized base for the repair and replacement of driveways and
storm sewers to be used by the Street and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, APAC-Texas, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$14.20 per ton for
cement stabilized base; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by APAC-Texas,
Inc. is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by APAC-Texas, Inc. for an annual contract to provide cement
stabilized base for the repair and replacement of driveways and storm sewers to be used by
the Street and Drainage Division in the amount of $14.20 per ton be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
