WHEREAS, on Monday,June 7, 1993,sealed bids were received for an annual
contract to purchase polyethylene pipe to be used by the Streets and Drainage Division for
driveway replacement in conjunction with ditching operation; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply Company submitted a bid to purchase
polyethylene pipe at the following prices:

15" Smooth interior corrugated pipe $ 3.65/lf
18" Smooth interior corrugated pipe $ 5.15/lf
24" Smooth interior corrugated pipe $ 7,88/lf
36" Smooth interior corrugated pipe $ 18.69/lf
15" Split couplings $ no charge/ea
18" Split couplings $ 5.15/ea
24" Split couplings $ 7.88/ea
36" Split couplings $ 18.69/ea
15" Tees $ 84.00/ea
18" Tees $ 120.75/ea
24" Tees $ 168.00 ea
36" Tees $ 472.50%a
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Coburn
Supply Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Coburn Supply Company for the purchase of polyethylene pipe
to be used by the Streets and Drainage Division for driveway replacement in conjunction
with ditching operation for the above prices be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
