HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 93-117 �- 9,3- 7 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on February 2, 1993, the City Council passed a Resolution awarding the contract for the construction of a roadway at the City of Beaumont's landfill to APAC-Texas, Inc. in the amount of $371,105.00; and, WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was approved on March 2, 1993, decreasing the contract amount by ($44,263.00) and Change Order No. 2 was approved on April 6, 1993 increasing the contract amount by $30,000.00 for a total contract amount of $356,842.00; and, WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 is being created to increase the contract amount by $21,000.00 in order to install flapgates and sluice gates on the outfall pipes in accordance with the present permit requirements for the landfill; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 3 with APAC-Texas, Inc. for a contract price increase in the amount of $21,000.00.
