HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 93-079 - �- RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on August 11, 1992, City Council awarded a contract to Excavators & Constructors, Inc. for the construction of the High School Ditch Drainage Project Phase I in the amount of$1,115,073.20; and, WHEREAS, Change Orders No. 1 and No. 2 have resulted in a total construction contract amount of$1,139,278.71; and, WHEREAS, Change Order No.3 is being requested to decrease the contract amount by $10,977.09 to adjust estimated quantities to reflect actual quantities used for a total contract amount of$1,128,301.62; WHEREAS, the project has been completed by the Contractor and inspected by city staff and is in conformance with the plans and specifications; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 3 to decrease the amount of the contract between the City of Beaumont and Excavators & Constructors, Inc. by $10,977.09 to reflect actual quantities used in the High School Ditch Drainage Project for a total contract amount of$1,128,301.62. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to accept the project and make final payment to Excavators & Constructors, Inc. in the amount of$1,128,301.62 for the construction of the High School Ditch Drainage Project Phase I.
