WHEREAS, on February 2, 1993, the City Council of the City of Beaumont
awarded a contract in the amount of $371,105.00 to APAC-Texas, Inc. for the
Construction of Roadway at the City of Beaumont's Landfill; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 has been created to decrease the Contract
amount by $44,263.00. This change order will delete approximately 675 feet of the
roadway from the Contract. The adjusted quantities are listed below:
1. Decrease Item 249-001 12" Flex BS TY "A" GR 3 6464SY @$9.50 = (61,408.00)
2. Add Item 249-002 6" Flea BS TY "A" GR 3 3800 SY @ 8.14 = 30,936.00
3. Decrease Item 260-001 Lime Treated SUB GRD 6" 2724 SY @ 1.00 = (2,724.00)
4. Decrease Item 264-001 Lime (Hydrated) 51 TN @80.00 = (4,080.00)
5. Decrease Item 264-003 18" RCP CL III 64 LF @27.00 = ( 1,728.00)
6. Decrease Item 1146-001 Excavation 476 CY @ 3.50 = (1,666.00)
7. Decease Item 1147-001 Embankment TY "B" 174 CY @ 5.00 = ( 870.00)
8. Decrease Item 3099-001 Fabric 2723 SY @ 1.00 = (2,723.00)
Total = ($44,263.00)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order
No. 1, as stated above, with APAC-Texas, Inc.
