WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of one (1) hydraulic rescue tool for use
by the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Ferrara Firefighting Equipment of Baton Rouge, Louisiana submitted a bid
in the amount of $14,472.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Ferrara Firefighting
Equipment is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Ferrara Firefighting Equipment of Baton Rouge, Louisiana for
the purchase of one (1) hydraulic rescue tool for use by the Fire Department in the amount of
$14,472.00, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
