WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of round and rectangular folding
tables for the Convention Facilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Mity-Lite, Inc. of Orem, Ut. submitted a bid in the amount of
$150.00 each for fifty (50) round tables, $133.00 each for one hundred (100) rectangular tables
and $200.00 each for seven (7) table carts for a total price of $22,200.00 which includes
delivery to the Civic Center; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mity-Lite,
Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mity-Lite, Inc. of Orem, Ut. in the amounts stated above for the
purchase of round and rectangular folding tables for the Convention Facilities Department, be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
