HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 92-302 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, a petition was received by the City of Beaumont requesting that the City of Beaumont give written consent for the formation of the "Orange County Emergency Services District No. 1" in accordance with the requirements of Section 775.014 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of Texas; and, WHEREAS, the City desires to provide written consent for the formation of such District; and, WHEREAS, the date of this resolution is less than sixty (60) days after the date on which the City of Beaumont received the request; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT it hereby consents to the formation of Orange County Emergency Services District No. 1 as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall serve as the written consent of the City of Beaumont to the formation of such Orange County Emergency Services District No. 1.
