WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for mowing privately
owned developed property with above the ground structures and vacant lots for the
Environmental Health Division; and,
WHEREAS, Yardboy Lawncare Service of Beaumont submitted a bid in the
amount of $1.90 per square foot for mowing and $2.00 per square foot for removing grass
clippings on vacant property and Alamo Lawn Service of Beaumont submitted a bid in the
amount of $2.50 per square foot for mowing and $4.00 per square foot for removing grass
clippings on developed property; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by
Yardboy Lawncare Service and Alamo Lawn Service are the best bids meeting specifications
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Yardboy Lawncare Service of Beaumont for vacant property and
Alamo Lawn Service of Beaumont for developed property in the amounts stated above for an
annual contract for the Environmental Health Division, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the 4 2a
day of 1992.
