RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on September 10, 1991, the City Council of The City of Beaumont awarded
a contract with BO-MAC Contractors, Inc. of Beaumont in the amount of $1,994.318.48 for
the reconstruction and overlay of various streets in the 1991 Street Rehabilitation Program; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $25,000.00 and Change Order No.
2 in the amount of $81,012.47 increased the contract amount to $2,100,330.95;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No. 3, with
BO-MAC Contractors, Inc. (1) to increase the contract amount by $98,890.18 for the
reconstruction of Thomas Road; (2) add 3,841.0 square yards of pavement milling work on
College Street - Goliad to Fourth at $2.25 per yard for a total cost of $8,642.25 and (3)
decrease estimated quantities by $76,861.95 to reflect quantities actually used in the construction
of this project. The total amount of Change Order No. 3 is $30,670.48 which results in a final
contract price of $2,131,001.43.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the job be, and it is hereby accepted and final payment in
the amount of $130,741.87 be made to BO-MAC Contractors, Inc.
