RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, A. J. "Tony" Fasulo has submitted an application to the City of
Beaumont for a license to operate an auto wrecker service within the corporate limits of
the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard and considered whether the demands
of public convenience and necessity require such proposed or such additional auto wrecker
service within the city; the financial responsibility of the applicant; the number, kind and
type of equipment to be used; the increased traffic congestion on the streets of the city
which might result; whether the safe use of the streets by the public, both vehicular and
pedestrian, will be preserved by the granting of such additional permits; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the acceptance of said
application will serve the demand of public convenience and necessity and that same should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT it is hereby found that public convenience and necessity for an additional emergency
wrecker exists and, if all other requirements of law are met, the Police Department is
hereby authorized to issue a permit for such wrecker to A. J. "Tony" Fasulo.
