RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2) Ford F800 cabs and
chassis mounted with a Pakmor R1208 refuse collection body for the Solid Waste Management
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Wickersham Ford of Orange submitted a bid of$105,934.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by
Wickersham Ford is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Wickersham Ford of Orange in the amount of $105,934.00,
for two (2) Ford F800 cabs and chassis mounted with a Pakmor R120B refuse collection body
for use by the Solid Waste Management Department, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
