RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on August 1, 1990, City Council awarded a contract to BO-
MAC Contractors, Inc. of Beaumont to reconstruct various streets throughtout the City
within the 1990 Street Reconstruction Project in the amount of $846,256.30; and,
WHEREAS, on October 2, 1990, Change Order No. 1 was authorized and
executed in the amount of $190,418.00 making the total contract amount $1,036,674.30;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 has been created to increase the contract
amount by $6,283.56 to compensate for additional work required for unforeseen spot base
repairs on Phelps Road and for the removal of excess existing asphaltic materials from
Tyrrell Park Road preparatory to stabilization of the base;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 2 in
the contract between the City of Beaumont and BO-MAC Constructors, Inc. for a price
increase in the amount of $6,283.56, and also, in accordance with the terms of the contract,
make final payment in the amount of $64,671.41 to BO-MAC Contractors, Inc.
