RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing labor, materials and equipment
to remove a roof containing asbestos materials and installing a composition roof at the No. 5
Fire Station located at 1190 Grand Street; and,
WHEREAS, Hazard Assessment Leaders, Inc., dba HAL, Inc. of Houston,
Texa submitted a bid in the amount of $13,987.00 and $3.50 per board foot; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Hazard
Assessment Leaders, Inc., dba HAL, Inc. of Houston, Texas is the best bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid submitted by Hazard Assessment Leaders, Inc., dba HAL, Inc. of Houston, Texas,
to furnish labor, materials and equipment to remove a roof containing asbestos materials and
installing a composition roof at the No. 5 Fire Station located at 1190 Grand Street in the
amount of$13,987.00 and $3.50 per board foot be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
