Exhibit "A" y 103 STATE OF TEXAS § COUNTY OF JEFFERSON § QUITCLAIM, ABANDONMENT AND VACATION OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY WHEREAS, by resolution R-90-257 the City Council authorized the City Manager to execute a document abandoning that portion of Cherokee Lane, a street right-of-way, adjacent to Lots 1 and 10, Mockingbird Lane Addition to City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT the City of Beaumont, a municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting herein by and through Ray Riley, its City Manager duly authorized, of the County of Jefferson, State of Texas, does hereby quitclaim, vacate and abandon and, by these presents, does quitclaim, vacate and abandon all interest which the City of Beaumont may have, and specifically including its right-of-way easement over the following described real property situated in Jefferson County, Texas, to wit: That portion of Cherokee Lane right-of-way adjacent to Lots 1 and 10, Mockingbird Lane Addition, the same being the north 135' of Cherokee Lane, Mockingbird Lane Addition t�, the Ci�y of nea umont, Jefferson County, Texas. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all of the City's right, title and interest in and to the above-described property and premises unto those people who own the adjacent real property, their heirs and assigns forever, so that neither the City of Beaumont, its successors or assigns shall have, claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid property, premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
