BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT;
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
a deed without warranty to Dent and wife Elsie Walker for the
purchase of property being held by virtue of Sheriff's Deed for
delinquent taxes owed all taxing entities. The property is
described as Lot 8, Block 1 of the Lone Star Addition. The
property was acquired by the City of Beaumont May 3, 1977, for
itself and as Trustee for Jefferson County and the Beaumont
Independent School District. We have received an offer to purchase
the property for $1,300.00 which is more than the amount of taxes
due each entity including all costs of court.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont
this the day of 1990.
