WHEREAS, Nichols Development Company wishes to convey, by Deed of Gift, a
thirty foot(30')wide strip of land along the south side of Dishman Road, being parallel with
and abutting the existing south right-of-way line of Dishman Road in the A. Huston Survey,
Abstract 33, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, to allow for the tying in of a new
water tower with existing water and sewer facilities; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said conveyance and
is of the opinion that the acceptance of said conveyance is necessary and desirable and
that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT said conveyance by Nichols Development Company be and the same is hereby, in
all things, accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 3' day of
February, 2004.
