annual contract for the ;purchase of hot mixed hot laic; and hot
nixed cold laid asphaltic concrete; anal,
V7HII-: 3S, Council approved awarding this hid to Aaeo,>7n
supply Company of Beaumont in the amount of 1,27.00 per ton for
hot mix hot lain and $24.75 per ton for cold laid asphaltic
concrete; and,
Ii1iL, �S, Keo��n Sup fly Co.ipany closed their operations
in Beaumont for these materials on August 7 , 1987 ; and,
Ta,i ,ZEAS, Ts, TX, Asphaltic Division, Dort Arthur, Texas,
was contacted; any their bid of 125. 50 per ton for hot mix asphalt
and $26 .00 per ton for cold ,Fix asphalt is still valid; and,
raai-IEl"EAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the �i i
submitted by T'X T`•', Asphaltic Division is the best bid and should
be accepted;
