HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 87-084 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Judy Telger, Realtor, duPerier Real Estate, agent for the owner, Homequity, Inc. , has requested the City of Beaumont to allow her client to encroach eleven (11 ) feet into the sixteen ( 16 ) foot utility easement at the rear of Lot 27 , Block 13 , and two (2 ) feet into the utility easement between Lots 27 and 28, Block 13 , Dowlen West Unit IX; and, WHEREAS City staff has expended considerable time and effort in investigating the effect of such encroachment upon the City and utilities serving the same; and, WHEREAS, it appears that it would be equitable to allow such encroachment at this time; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMOPNT: THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a License to Encroach for Judy Telger, Realtor, duPerier Real Estate, agent for the owner, Homequity, Inc. , to encroach eleven ( 11 ) feet into the sixteen ( 16) foot utility easement at the rear of Lot 27 , Block 13 , and two (2) feet into the utility easement between Lots 27 and 28, Block 13 , Dowlen West Unit IX for a one-time license fee paid to the City of Five Hundred Dollars ($500) .
