HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 86-159 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, William Martin, Jr. , owner of Lot 21, Block 3, Wescalder Estates, has constructed a portion of a bathhouse and a concrete deck on the east five and one-half feet (5 1/2 ' ) of an eight foot (8' ) utility easement belonging to the City of Beaumont; and WHEREAS, City staff has expended considerable time and effort in investigating the effect of such encroachment upon the City and utilities serving the same; and WHEREAS, it appears that it would be equitable to allow the continuance of such encroachment at this time; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a license for William Martin, Jr . , the owner of said Lot 21, Block 3 , of Wescalder Estates, to encroach upon the east five and one-half feet (5 1/2 ' ) of an eight foot (81 ) utility easement abutting Lot 21, Block 3 , of Wescalder Estates. Such agreement shall be executed in return for a one time license fee paid to the City of Five Hundred Dollars ( $500.00) .
