HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 83-277 AGEND ITEM hiQ R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the developers of Westchase and Howell Courts subdivisions have completed the water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements as follows: Westchase Subdivision Street improvements on Westchase Drive from Washington Boulevard north approximately 585 feet, then west approximately 280 feet; Winter Lane from Westchase Drive west for approximately 225 feet; and water and sewer improvements in Lots 1-31, Block 1 . Howell Courts Subdivision Street improvements extending Howell Street approxi- mately 169 feet north to Drainage District 6 easement and water and sewer improvements in Lots 1-8 . and, WHEREAS, the developers of said subdivisions desire to have these improvements accepted and maintained by the City; and, WHEREAS, the directors of the Urban Transportation and Water Utilities departments recommend that said improvements qualify for acceptance for permanent maintenance, and the City Council is of the opinion that said improvements should be accepted and maintained by the City of Beaumont; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAI' the water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements in Westchase and Howell Courts subdivisions as above described, be, and the same are hereby , accepted by the City of Beaumont and shall be continuously maintained by the City.
