WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for
hydrated lime and liquid chlorine; and,
WHEREAS, United States Gypsum Company submitted a bid
in the amount of $97. 50/ton for hydrated lime and Jones Chemical
Company submitted a bid in the amount of $187. 00/ton for liquid
chlorine; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by United States Gypsum Company and Jones Chemical Company
are the lowest and best bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of United States Gypsum Company and Jones Chemical
Company are hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to execute a one ( 1 ) year contract with
United States Gypsum Company in the amount of $97. 50/ton for hydrated
lime and Jones Chemical Company in the amount of $187.00/ton for
liquid chlorine.

PROPOSED T-HANGAR RATE SCHEDULE'
.FOR -
BEAUMONT MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
The following classes and rates shall be in effect for hangars at
Beaumont Municipal Airport beginning April 1, 1983. The term hangar
shall mean a shelter designed for a single aircraft.
Class Rate Description
I $105 Hangars with walls, ceilings, concrete floor
and ramp, electrical door, electrical outlet,
and fire alarm
II $ 80 (Standard hangar) Hangar with walls, ceiling,
door, paved floor and ramp
III $ 70 Standard hangar without paved ramp, or without
paved floor
IV $ 60 Standard hangar without door, or without paved
floor and paved ramp
V $ 50 Standard hangar without door and paved ramp, or
without door and paved floor
VI $ 40 Standard hangar without door, paved floor, and
paved ramp
Rate adjustments shali be made for lessee,,: pt oviding hangar iwprovewent.
at their own expense to standards to the satisfaction of the Director of
Urban Transportation. Such adjustments shall continue until the lessee s
lease becomes invalid or there is no renewal on a continuing basis. All
improvements shall become the property of the City upon completion.
