WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one ( 1 )
four inch ( 4" ) pump mounted on a trailer; and,
WHEREAS, Gaedcke Equipment Co. of Beaumont, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $4 ,028 . 17; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Gaedcke Equipment Co. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Gaedcke Equipment Co. in the amount of $4 ,028 . 17
for the purchase of one ( 1 ) four inch ( 4" ) pump mounted on a
trailer be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to pay for same upon acceptable delivery.
