BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to transfer
. 326 acres of land as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
made a part hereof for all purposes to Alvie H. Frederick and pay to
Alvie H. Frederick the sum of $1, 250. 00 in exchange for the transfer
to the City of Beaumont by Alvie H. Frederick of . 203 acres of land
as described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof
for all purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized to execute all instruments required to conclude
this transaction. This property is to be acquired for the Dowlen
Road Extension Project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the

That certain 0 . 326 acre tract of land described as
being part of Lots 21 and 38 out of Thurlow Court,
a subdivision within the Charles Williams League
as recorded in Volume 5 , Pace 111 of the Map Records
of Jefferson County, Texas, and also part of a fifty
(50) foot street right of way- to the City of Beaumont
described as having a northerly right of way line
common with the southerly property line of Lots 22
and 37 of said Thurlow Court; said 0 . 326 acre tract
of land being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a two (2) inch pipe found for the south-
east corner of said Lot 22, said two (2) inch pipe
also being at the said northerly right of way line
of the said fifty (50) foot street right of way;
said two (2) inch pipe also being at the westerly
right of way line of Marceline Boulevard;
THENCE along the arc of a 50. 00 foot radius curve to
the left having a chord bearing of South 010 03 ' 30"
West, an arc length of 104 . 71 feet to an iron rod
set at the easterly property line of said Lot 21;
THENCE South 010 03 ' 30" West along the said easterly
property line of said Lot 21 and the westerly proper-
ty line of Lot 20 of said Thurlow Court, a distance
of 15. 36 feet to an iron rod set at the northerly
right of way line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad;
THENCE along the arc of a 2814 . 75 foot radius curve
j' to the right having a chord bearing of South 880 02 ' 05"
West for the said northerly right of way line of the
Missouri Pacific Railroad, an arc length of 137 . 56
feet to an iron rod set at the proposed easterly right
of way line of the Dowlen Road Extension;

right of way line of the Dowlen Road Extension , a dis-
tance of 111. 25 feet to an iron rod set at the said
southerly property line of said Lot 37 ;
THENCE South 880 56 ' 30" East along the said northerly
right of way line of the said fifty (50) foot street
right of way and the said southerly property line of

the southeast corner of said Lot 37 and the southwest

That certain 0.203 acre tract of land described as being out of Lot 36 and Lot 37 of
Thurlow Court, a subdivision within the Charles Williams League, as recorded in Vol-
ume 5, Page ill of the Map Records of Jefferson County, Texas; said 0. 203 acre tract
being more particularly described as follows :
BEGINNING at a three-fourths (3/4) inch pipe found for the northwest corner
of said Lot 36 and the southwest corner of Lot 35 of said Thurlow Court;
said three-fourths (3/4) inch pipe also being on the present easterly right-
of-way line of "V" Street ; said three-fourths (3/4) inch pipe also being
the northwest corner of the said 0.203 acre tract;
THENCE South 880 56' 30" East along the northerly line of said Lot 36, and the
southerly line of said Lot 35 , a distance of 30.37 feet to an iron rod set
on the proposed easterly right-of-way line of Dowlen Road; said iron rod
also being on the northeast corner of the said 0.203 acre tract;
THENCE South 060 44' 23" East along the said proposed easterly right-of-way
line of Dowlen Road, a distance of 175.60 feet to an iron rod set for a Point
