BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Planning Department be, and they are hereby, directed to
prepare a service plan for an annexation request which includes
76. 5 acres as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that public hearings concerning
this proposed annexation shall be held February 1, 1982 and
February 17 , 1982.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this

Being a tract of land out of and part of Block 10, Wescalder Fig
Acres Addition to the City of Beaumont, Texas, as recorded in
Volume 4, Page 149 of the Plat Records of Jefferson County,
Texas. The tract being more particularly described as follows:
For locative point begin at an iron rod in north west corner of
Somerset Place;
Thence West along the South line of Washington Boulevard 303. 1
feet past an iron rod which marks the north west corner of the
J. R. Phillips tract and the north east corner of the L.N.V.A.
Canal 100 foot Right of Way a total distance of 419.67 feet to
the Place of Beginning of the tract herein described.
THENCE continuing West along the south line of Washington
Boulevard a total distance of 810.7 feet to an iron rod for
corner;
THENCE South 1334.0 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE East 600.0 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE South 1237. 5 feet to an iron rod located in the North
line of Baker Road;
THENCE East along the North line of Baker Road a total distance
of 1750.0 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE North 30 degrees 54 minutes 29 seconds West along the
most Westerly side of the L.N.V.A. Canal 100 foot Right of Way a
distance of 2997. 0 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING containing
76. 23 acres of land more or less.
