NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase from the above-listed owners of the properties
described in Exhibits "A -F" attached hereto and made a part
hereof for all purposes, is hereby authorized for the sums stated
herein.

TRACT NO. 1-A
30 Foot Utility Easement
Being a portion of that certain 30 foot wide unnamed street located in the J. W.
Bullock Survey, Abstract 7, Jefferson County, Texas, and abandoned by the City
of Beaumont by Ordinance as recorded in Vol . 1149, page 623, of the Deed Records
of Jefferson County, Texas, said 30 foot street being located between the east line
of the Heflebower & Scott Subdivision, Vol . 1, page 83, Map Records of Jefferson
County, Texas, and the west line of the M. C. Cartwright Subdivision, Vol . 4, page
194, of said Map Records, and bounded on the north by the south line of the L.N.V.A.
Fresh Water Canal and on the south by the south line of the J. W. Bullock Survey,
and containing approximately 0.24 acres or 10,290 square feet of land, more or less.
30 Foot Temporary Construction Easement
Being a 30 foot strip of land located adjacent and parallel to and west of the
above described 30 foot utility easement and further being the east 30 feet of
Lots 28c and 28d of the Heflebower & Scott Subdivision.

of Jefferson County, Texas, said 30 foot street being located between the
east line of the Hef lebower & Scott Subdivision, Vol. 1, page 83, Asap Records
of Jefferson County, Texas, and the west line of the M, C. Cartwright Subdiv-
ision, Vol. 4, page 194, of said Psap Records, and also being adjacent and
parallel to and west of the existing 100 foot ditch easement held by Drainage

the iron rod being in the west line of the abandoned (30) thirty foot road;

County, Texas, lying between the current southeast right-of-way line of State
Highway 124 and a line southeast of, parallel to, and 80 feet from the original
centerline of Highway 124, measured at right angles to said centerline, contain-
ing 0.98 of an acre, more or less.
