WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of 3/4" ,
1" , 1-1/2" and 2" plastic water pipe to be used by the Water
Distribution Department; and,
WHEREAS, SPI Municipal Supply Company of Lafayette,
Louisiana submitted a bid in the amount of $1 ,320 .40; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by SPI Municipal Supply Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of SPI Municipal Supply Company in the amount of
$1,320.40 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same.
