WHEREAS, on July 1 , 1981 , the City of Beaumont entered
into an agreement with Juliet Perlstein Simon, Muriel Selber
Folloder, and Eleanor Perlstein Weinbaum for the exchange of
properties for the construction of the Phelan Connector; and,
WHEREAS, the agreement contained Exhibits A, B, C, and D
describing the parcels of land to be exchanged; and,
WHEREAS, the field note descriptions contained in
Exhibits A, B, C, and D should be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
an amendment to the above described agreement changing the field
note descriptions contained in the Exhibits thereto, to those
contained in Exhibit A to this resolution.

FIELD NOTE DESCRIPTION OF A PART OF LOTS 3, 4 & 5 OF CALDER COURTS
ADDITION TO BE CONVEYED FROM THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO THE PERLSTEIN HEIRS
BEING a 0.078 acre tract of land in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas
and being that vortion of Lots 3, 4 & 5 of Calder Courts Addition,
according to the plat thereof recorded in Vol. 4 Page 191 of the Map
Records of Jefferson County, Texas, lying South of Phelan Boulevard
and said 0.078 acre tract of land being more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows :
. FOR locative corner begin at a 1 inch iron pipe found in the North
right-of-way line of the. B.S.L. & W. Railroad Company 100 foot
right-of-way locating the Southeast corner of Lot 1 of said Calder

THENCE South 88 degrees 21 minutes West along the North right-of-way
line of said Railroad and the South line of said Calder Courts
Addition, a distance of 99.66 feet to a 1 inch galvanized iron pipe
placed at the Southwest corner of Lot 2 and the Southeast corner of
Lot 3 of said Calder Courts Addition and said pipe locates the South-
east and beginning corner of the tract of land herein described;
THENCE continuing South 88 degrees 21 minutes West along the North
line of said Railroad and the South line of said Calder Courts Addition,
a distance of 102.44 feet to a 1 inch galvanized iron pipe placed at
the Southwest corner of the tract of land herein described;
THENCE North 55 degrees 40 minutes 18 seconds East along the South-
easterly right-of-way line of Phelan Boulevard, a distance of 122.98 feet
to a 1 inch galvanized iron pipe placed in the common lot line between
