R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted a proposed budget
for the fiscal year beginning October 1 , 1981 , as required by
Article VI , Section 2 , of the Charter of the City of Beaumont;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a public hearing on the proposed budget for the fiscal year
beginning October 1 , 1981 , shall be held on September 1 , 1981 , at
2 : 00 p.m. , in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, Beaumont
Texas. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to have
published a notice of the place and time of the hearing; said
notice to be published not less than seven (7 ) days prior to the
date of the hearing.
