WHEREAS, on Monday, November 9, 1998, sealed bids were received for an
annual contract to provide Fire Department uniform jackets; and,
WHEREAS, Lawman's Uniform & Equipment Company, Houston, Texas submitted
a bid in the amount of$98.49 for each uniform for a total estimated amount of$23,145.15;
and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lawman's
Uniform & Equipment Company, Houston, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lawman's Uniform & Equipment Company, Houston, Texas in
the amount of$98.49 per uniform for a total estimated amount of$23,145.15 for an annual
contract to provide Fire Department uniform jackets be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
