WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land for the
Walden Road Right-of-Way Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto for the
Walden Road Right-of-Way Project, be and the same is hereby, approved:
9,290 square feet of land out of Lot 12,
Block 3 of the C. E. Smith Addition
(6405 Walden Road)
Appraised Value: $9,150.00
Improvements Retained: 5.00
Total Compensation: $9,145.00
(Partial Taking)
Appraiser: Bishop Real Estate Appraisers, Inc.
Owners: Mr. and Mrs. Adam F. Fontenot
