WHEREAS bids were received on Monday, August 31, 1998 for furnishing all labor,
materials, supplies and equipment for the removal and replacement of carpet and vinyl
floor tile in the Beaumont Public Library; and,
WHEREAS, Martin Van Clark Roofing and Flooring submitted a bid in the amount
of$58,250 for furnishing all labor, materials, supplies and equipment for the removal and
replacement of carpet and vinyl floor tile in the Beaumont Public Library; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Martin Van Clark
Roofing and Flooring should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Martin Van Clark Roofing and Flooring in the amount of
$58,250 for furnishing all labor, materials, supplies and equipment for the removal and
replacement of carpet and vinyl floor tile in the Beaumont Public Library be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the,9 day of
