WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of the 97%
interest of Labelle Properties, Ltd. the described land for the Walden Road Right-of-Way
Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto for the
Walden Road Right-of-Way Project, be and the same is hereby, approved:
The same being the north 40 foot of
Lots 1 through 11 and Lots 13 through 16
Block 3 of the C. E. Smith Addition
Appraised Value: $114,678.25
Owner: Labelle Properties, Ltd.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1998.
