WHEREAS bids were received on Monday, October 13, 1997 for the purchase of
one (1) fifty (50) ton drop deck lowboy trailer for use by the Public Works Department,
Streets and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Mustang Tractor & Equipment Company, Beaumont, Texas, submitted
a bid in the amount of $45,094.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor
& Equipment Company, Beaumont, Texas in the amount of $45,094.00 should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor & Equipment Company, Beaumont, Texas,
for the purchase of one (1) Load King Model 503DFM lowboy trailer in the amount of
$45,094.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1997.
